A Sonnet on Timeless Passion

Love is like a flower in a garden,

The look you give me strikes me with a force,

Your passion comes from the lakes of Eden,

I ride the waves of love much like a horse,

Through dreams and thoughts I oft foresaw our love,

It cements its roots within our great bond,

Let your passion for me soar like a dove,

In you I trust so deep and grow so fond,

Our time amongst each other grows so short,

I fear the day we must let go and part,

Our ship of love is coming to a port,

I will forever keep you in my heart,

The passing day won't halt my great desire,

My passion for you burns in me like fire.
