Sonorous

You will never understand how much I feel Dancing in the water I drown in Sinking until I hit the floor There is so much more More that I should say So maybe I should snap this pen Let my fears all float away Because I don’t think Im okay I choke on my tears All the sound fills my ears As the salt builds in me Holds me stiff as a tree Rooted in the uncertainty of everything I am gone I float away in the words you say Weighted to the ground I cry out Will I find peace someday In the heaviness of my big sea I can’t walk I can barely fucking breathe So someone let me out of me So maybe I can finally be free Of all I am And all I know I will never be Because I am too much And freedom is a faraway gift I know I will never receive As I am too much For all of them and all of me Giving and giving I give But when will I ever receive My sorrow picks away at me Like the scabs on my arms I pick and I pick Until maybe you would want me Small enough to fit in your hand Tuck me away until your not okay Then you will understand Understand how big you can become When you try and stay small for so long Now you can’t breathe And you got so mad at me for being too big When I was really just free Free to be all I am Without fear of you judging me But now I'm too small for anyone to ever see To heavy to live So I just sink From the salt that weighs my bones To the roots that hold me down I hope I am small enough for you now So feel free to leave me And let me lay here And drown
