Sophrosyne

She is Kiera

Kind, Intelligent, Embracing, Radical, and Ambitious

Her skin is black

She is a mixture of pure honey, brown sugar, chocolate, and pain

She is a spiritual being and finds serenity in SZA and the universe

She meditates to find herself in the parts of life that are poetry

She is divine greatness

She has the world's strongest love for children

And she knows no boundaries to acquire the things she desires

But she has seen things that would make a sane man go mad

The kiss of death feeling like a cold blade against her neck

The warmth of the sun feeling like an inferno blaze against her skin

She heard beauty came from within so she cut herself to see a glimpse of her beautiful

She is a survivor

She realizes the heaviest hearts carry the biggest loads

And in order to grow you have to stop watering dead situations

So she learned to make friends with her fears and enemies with her weaknesses

And not stressing over the things she couldn’t control

Because when she becomes a diamond she’ll see why life had to put so much pressure on her

Such a pretty little bird

Sophrosyne
