Sorrow

Cuts and wounds are scars of the past, a reminder that memories never fade aggravating pain imprisoned threatening to break spill out the lie that has been living inside Disintegrating oneself to their last suffering before they are left begging for mercy, some scars will heal while others will slit open, a reminder that memories never fade impossible to "fix" the past Running is the only choice. Running away from the pain away from everything, from what they know will haunt them for the rest of their lives Like an annoying tune stuck in one's head a bitter ear worm that will never end draining the last bit of energy left in their hopeless souls watching themselves slowly crumble to pieces Nothing can be done. Their silent screams heard by no one fading into the background No attempts to try to break the cycle of reoccurring nightmares from repeating itself Time will go on, the wind will blow the blood will flow the pain will grow and like a never-ending story, life will go on. Sorrow.
