Sorrow
That hit I took I saw a rock
Blasted
I took a shot
I get it made and buried
That famous pop
It’s fantastic
That trip I took
You laid it bare
Alone without my thought
Alone I sought
A first glance
Just to talk
Your words are here nor there
All I hear is I’m still breathing
And I
I got taken away
I landed in an uncomfortable place
I feel empty
No lungs
No dreams
No way home
Your words are here nor there
All I hear is I’m still breathing
And I take another hit
One more and my soul will be closer
One more and maybe I will be stronger
One more and the day got longer
All I hear is I’m still breathing
And I went around looking
No hope
Eyes all bloody
Stood out on a rope
The town was all I saw and without me in it
I took a trip to the source
Without you in it
Ate away my brain the rot still sinning
And you took me away
To sea of tranquility
My eyes burning
Jaws all churning
You could rot without to repent
All I’m looking for is my two cents
My wisdom is beyond your years
Spirit gets high and I wrote that friends
There’s no rest for my sorrows
The rivers overflowing
And you’ll find that I am broken
