Sorrow

Love is so easily taken away
Here one day, gone tomorrow
Why have you gone astray?
Why must I feel such sorrow?

Without you, my life lacks meaning
When will I see you again?
Left so alone, my tears are spilling
Overcome with pain

Through it all, the sorrow and tears
I still wish the best for you...
I know now that we weren't meant to be
I wonder if you still think of me, too

Time has come and time does go
I know this much is true
No matter what, through all the years
I'll forever still miss you
