Sorrow Turns to Happiness

I never knew how much you meant to me Or how much you cared to let me be I wish we all lived perfectly for you to stay But your life had to be taken away Oh just yesterday All I asked was for one more day Just one day to see you all joyfully What are the odds that it can't be? Not 'till the day I'm finally free I'm longing for that special time When the sun no longer shines before my eyes But the light of life beaming oh so bright And you would be there along with her Holding hands, arms wide open, waiting for me As of now, I live my life as it is I'll try to watch the stars every night Imagining you're one of them like her Watching happily over me
