Sorry

I am sorry, I am sorry that I wasn't good enough for you

I am sorry, I am sorry that you think that I cheated on you

I am sorry, I am sorry that I ever defended you even when you don't deserve it

I am sorry, I am sorry that you blame me for everything

You were the my 1st love, as hard as it may be I have never cried till you called

You blamed me for everything even when it wasn't my fault

Despite what happened between us

I am not sorry for our girls

I am not sorry for our friends

Cause out of all the pain and suffering

Came bundles of joy: our daughters and our friends

So go ahead and blame me for whatever you think you can blame me for

Go ahead and think badly of me

But in the end it is your lost not mine

For now I am happy, you can't take my happiness away

And you can't take my joy away.
