Sorry I Called You a Pig

It’s hard to listen to you

When your confidence clogs up the house

Why can’t you be more like me?

Meek and quiet

Ready to run at any moment

Cautious before calm

Instead you run into every situation

Ready to tackle it without thought

You don’t worry about anything and it shows

You’ve earned so much more than me

We’re doing the same things but our professors know you by name

Me?

“Have we met before?”

Several times actually

I don’t want to be more like you

But I wish I had what you had

Maybe I could be happy then?
