Sorry for Loving You

You may think this isn’t needed
And it probably isn’t
But I’ll say it anyway
I’m sorry

I’m sorry for being difficult
I’m sorry for being sad
I’m sorry for being doubtful
But I’m not sorry for loving you

I’m sorry for the pain I’ve caused
I’m sorry for the fear I’ve caused
I’m sorry for the anger I’ve caused
But I’m not sorry for loving you

I’m sorry for the awful words I’ve said
I’m sorry for the awful things I’ve done
I’m sorry for the awful things I’ll say and do
But I’m not sorry for loving you

I’m sorry for making you say things you didn’t want to say
I’m sorry for making you feel terrible
I’m sorry for making you think we needed a break
But I’m not sorry for loving you

I’m sorry for the things I’ve done in the past
I’m sorry for the things I’m doing in the present
I’m sorry for the things I’ll do in the future
But I’m not, nor will I ever be, sorry for loving you
