Sorry, Prince Charming
Once upon a time,
Lived a beautiful girl, the fairest in all the land
Her evil stepmother, who
compared to the girl, was really very bland.
The wicked stepmother told a young huner to
"Kill Snow White and bring back the heart."
So the hunter, brought Snow White to the woods
but he couldn't kill her, he just fell apart.
"I can not kill you. Run! Leave the kingdom!"
Snow White smiled, thanked the hunter
"I'll never forget what you've done."
She ran into the darkening woods, going even deeper.
She came upon a house and met
seven dwarves. She cleaned their shack,
and became their friend.
Nothing, did she lack
Snow White adored the dwarves
And they cherished her as well.
They were Grumpy, Dopey, Happy,
Sneezy, Sleepy, Doc and Bashful.
One day while the dwarves were gone,
The jealous queen came to trick the girl
to eat a poisoned apple. She took a bite
and her head began to swirl.
She fell to the ground, her heart slowly beating.
The evil queen laughed with delight.
"Ha! Now I'm the fairest in the world,
Since I got rid of Snow White!"
The queen left the house. The dwarves came home.
Lying on the ground, they saw Snow White,
Not dead, but not waking either.
They ran to her; it was a despairing sight.
The Seven Dwarves cried and wept
They placed her in a glass case
so that they would never forget
their princess's beautiful face.
The dwarves were thrilled when
a rich handsome prince arrived.
He fell in love with Snow White
and wanted her revived.
The Prince bent down and kissed the girl.
But still she did not move.
The Prince pouted, and threw a royal fit.
He was a big brat, this story proves.
He got back onto his horse
and rode back to his castle alone.
"How will we get our Snow White back?
The Prince wasn't able!" Doc said with a groan.
The Dwarves searched for weeks on end
through the days and through the nights
for someone, really anyone who could
awaken their beautiful Snow White.
Just as the Dwarves had given up,
a ray of hope shone through,
for a young man ran down the path,
he very nearly flew!
"Who are you? Why are you here?"
the curious Dwarves all wondered.
"I'm a hunter from the queen's kingdom
and about Snow White I have heard."
"You can try to save, I guess."
The Dwarves let the young hunter try.
He bent down and kissed Show White.
"Well, that didn't work," Doc said with a sigh.
But then, Snow White began to move,
her eyes opened. She said,
"Where am I?" The Dwarves shouted,
"Snow White! You're back! You're not dead!"
Snow White looked up and saw the hunter.
"How will I repay you, twice I owe you now!"
The hunter replied, "Oh, I know how you can.
"Marry me, that is how"
She smiled and hugged the hunter,
"Of course I'll be your wife!"
Shortly after, they were wed.
And lived pretty happy the rest of their life.
