Sorry, but there's no "perfect"

You let the mirror control you every time you gaze at its reflection,

You look at the glass and see your imperfections,

Can't you see that God made you perfect,

Why do you want to change it?

He made you with tenderness and care,

From your skin, body, your eyes and hair,

You can do things no one else can do,

You're special no matter what anyone tells you,

You know what they say, just let the haters hate,

They will never amount to much anyway,

Let your beautiful light shine on this broken world,

After all, it's love that makes the galaxy turn,

Remember that you are beautifully and wonderfully made,

Please don't let your love for God fade,

Everybody will try and tear you apart,

But don't let them break your heart,

I know some people say you aren't worth a thing,

Just hold on and wait for the upswing,

Don't give up, I promise there's a silver lining,

You might not see it because it's hiding,

Focus on God and His unconditional love,

He will send you a man who you can be proud of,

I just want to let all the girls know,

You're flawless, just let it show.
