A Soul’s Release

I free my bondages to gravity

Ascending from melancholia

Drifting freely

Pirouetting to the soothing music of my mind

Music I can call my own

My textured braids caress my cheeks as I move my head to the music massaging my ears

Angels float all around me as I dance through the french fuchsia sky

Auroras flash all around me

Aureolin to gold

Violet to blue

This is my place of solace

I relish in the contentment

Dancing as no one watches

For I know this moment won’t last forever.
