Soul

My soul cries empty tears in the still darkness of the abyss. Screaming longing to be released from the chains that bind my physical and emotional realm of reality. An emptiness that fights a raging war with the lies and torment that spewed from your lips like venom from the serpent playing like a broken record over and over in my mind. The battle of wrong and right, truth and lies, good and evil being fought with a veracity on the lonely battlefield of war. The tempest waiting for its just due tears falling like broken glass and shattering against the ground covered in blood and the essence of what was and can never be again. The war rages on but instead of loss of life its a loss of dreams, of hope of faith the mouth of the warrior opens but cannot speak because its words were stollen by demons of the past.
