Soul

My mind is filled with words and of stories to tell

But is it worth my soul to sell?

To dance with the devil and make an agreement

For a small taste of money, fame and achievement

Of recognition for my work and the writings I’ve made

Would the end result justify in that high of a price to be paid?

A soul is said to be special it is what makes us who we are

It is rumor that if you sell it, you can become a star

The sacrifice of one to help many

Would justify earning myself a pretty penny

My mind is filled with words and of stories to tell

But is it worth my soul to sell?

                            No.

Just your average every day guy who is battling depression, anxiety and life in general. I write to get my negative thoughts out of my head and to be a voice for those who are not yet willing to talk about these diseases.
