Soul Mate

Lights off, body to body, my emotions run wild as he whispers "I love you's" in my ear. I just don't know if he see in me, what I see in the mirror. He holds me close like he doesn't want to let go, unless it's inside of me of course. I just don't want to say yes and later have remorse. He kisses my neck as his hands run through my hair. My love and his lust just isn't fair. I know this is wrong but it's starting to feel right. This feeling in my stomach is getting hard to fight. As his hand goes up my back and my leg cuffs his body, I try to block out any thoughts that would make me think twice. His body is hard as ice. I don't want this feeling to melt away. If I say no, will he stay? He proceeds to push me on my back as he makes his way on top. But I know I'd never marry him so I have to make this stop. If he really loved me, he wouldn't put me in this position. In love, there are no conditions. I have to practice self control because I don't believe in birth control. I'm my going to have a child with a man who doesn't see me, being with him, to grow old. Don't make me a mother if you can't make me a wife. You obviously haven't heard about my life with Christ. I refuse to lay down with a man who doesn't profess the same hope in him as I do. I respect myself and expect a man to respect me, too. As our flesh tries to intervene, I need someone to help me show others what it means. Love is patient and willing to wait. You'll know it when you find it, your soul mate.
