Soul, Mind, Body

Soul, Mind, Body

Soul, mind, body

All are a part of what makes me who I am

My soul is weak and you bring it restoration

Mind bent and all distorted

I seek your wisdom

Do to me as you will

All I seek is that my mind should be set on you

And the ways of your perfection

Take me to a place of heavenly bliss

Lull me to sleep

Rock the cradle and make me more deep

I’m wondering when I’ll awaken in your arms

And you will tell me how much I mean

You will tell me tales of why and how

I will know life’s true meaning

My body is contorted

I have no will to go on

I hear you now but only nearly

When I see you I’m happily dreaming

Of the day you first came into my life

The day was long and I was far away

Coming near though cast astray

I humbly bent and bowed

I cried aloud and you heard me then

Said I love you and you arms were open

Welcoming me in to a walk of faith

The faith that grace was all that’s needed

My promise, as meager as could be

Is that I will remember all you did for me

When the wind blows and the chill follows

Your warmth surrounds me

My soul, mind, and body

Enveloped by your spirit
