Soul of Ocean

It was a fleeting romance,

My main memory is her lips,

The salt water heavy on my own,

It should have prepared me,

For the damage her crashing waves did,

She was a hurricane and I didn’t notice,

She tasted of salt water,

And I thought I could bear the current.
