Soul Sucking Screens

What if kids found people as role models, not by what they post;

This generation needs to comprehend what is least important and what is most;

Living their live vicariously by following stars, friends, and foes;

Well guess what follows them, ignorance from their heads to their toes;

Spending their whole lives staring at screens from television, to touch phones, to more;

But not screens of which they study at; for they find those a bore;

Trying to convince others, to convert to their religion of wasting time;

If you’re not one of them, they’ll act like their hearts are made of lime;

Neglecting you, teasing you, keeping your happiness submersed;

But in the end, will these screens help them when they are at their worst?
