A soul without melody
Your skeleton hands reached for my lifeless body
I had no form of protection
No armor to fight against you
But you knew that
You knew my innocence was in danger
But you continued
your lust was far greater than your morality
You tried to find your need for love in me
I was oblivious to what was occurring
You told me this was a game
You told me this was hide and seek
Your hands gripped me trying to find a melody
But my body gave no rhythm
So you grinded harder
You swayed your hands thinking my body was the one moving
But really, what was moving was my soul
My soul was detaching itself from me
I sang for it to come back
It was the only thing i had left to keep in this moment
But you mistook it for me enjoying what you were doing
My strings broken
My soul has no melody
Your hands took the only melody i had in me
Now i can’t find the rhythm in me
The rhythm of innocence
The rhythm of freedom
There’s no rhythm in me
I'm trying to find for the melody he took from me
A beat
A sound
Its voice
But all i can hear are the broken voices
The murmurs of my conscience blaming me
Broken strings
Broken beats
I hear it all when he passes by
It haunts me
It takes me back to the time when the melody did not want him
But his mind wanted it
His mind fought for it
Even though mine was trying to fight against it
The melody cries for me
My soul cries for me
But i can't have it
Not anymore
I don't want to remember the melody that did not sing for him
So i will be stuck without a melody or rhythm
But i will create a new melody
A melody that he has not strung
A soul he cannot remove from me
