soulmates

sometimes you see someone and admire thier beauty

your chilling with the homeboys and so you point out her booty

you think to yourself that it would be so cool if you could have her

but your still recovering from the last one by drinking with no pattern

you scroll through your phone and find her on social media

and realize that she is just like ya

so you get wild thoughts of givng her a ring like saturn

you sit back and the dreams flood in

and you imagine the first date at a retro drive in

so you grab your phone and swallow your fear

and send a text that you havent done in years

she replies back and gets all giggly

and you get a smile on your face and now your all jittery

you chat back and forth for days on end

and share stories from back when we were kids

you begin to realize the strong connection that began with the past

and now you just hope that the relationship will last

your heart beats are strong but yet so far away

but the love for eachother is so great that you find a way

late night calls and morning greetings

are just some of the greatest feelings

and its like whenver I begint o feel down inside

you know exactly what to do to get my heart beating

and when I look into your eyes I can feel a slight breeze

as if im on an island staring at the sea

and even though I still have yet to feel your touch

I just want you to know that I love u oh so very much
