Soulmates

Soulmates, a myth many believe

But I don’t

Why would I believe that after years of living my life I'm to find someone to love till I die

That ain’t me.

Instead I like to believe that they are a temporary love

And I Am my own soulmate

The one from the very beginning is and was myself, and when I'm put into the ground

I would be by myself

So instead of relying on another person to love me forever

I would rather love myself, from beginning to end

Just because I love you doesn't mean I'll be held in chains.
