Souls
Humanity imprisoned
We delight in direction
We seek for satisfaction
We crave what is certain
Yet we seem always lost, never satiated, and indecisive
The moment we are stripped of every material thing
We've convinced ourselves we need
The moment we are faced with the reality
Only the soul left to heed
Stranded the human spirit is in the island of greed
Blinded by darkness, the shadows of the black sea
I know the treasures of this world cannot feed
The most important part of me
Salvation
Where would I be if my soul wasn't free?
