SOUND

The sound of toddlers crying Or the sound of my french fries frying The sound of my mother scolding Or the sound of wrappers folding The sound of brakes screeching Or the sound of saints preaching The sound of bosom cronies growling Or the sound of the night owl howling There are sounds that are merry But some are the ones on which your feelings vary The world has infinite sounds Some of which in your heart will mound Sounds are of many different kinds But some are touched within heart and mind If you have good ears! The best sound is the speech of a heart to hear!
