the sound of silence

"the sound of silence every time i look around there's violence .

you got snake venom on your eye lids it's the reason your blinded."

take off the mask and lets see whats behind it ,is it the pain or the sound of

silence. you got military captains saying fix your face. you got your mama ,and

your daddy saying stay in your place. police got a gun pointed at your waste

if you move or hesitate you will be blown in space and have no place.

wondering when the good lord will help you escape

but when you get there you will have to face.

friends think there cannibals but they ain't even animals  when

something happen to you then there accountable . I had door shut in my

face but it ain't shuting no more because i found my happy place better

than the one before, and if you still talking trash i'll keep blinding my

bricks while you are on the other side still fixing your sticks and that's

what i call the sound of silence.
