Sounding Sun

In an empty concert hall, I clearly hear my own footsteps.

A twinkling ceiling to a wooden floor, the depth is enough to be confidently free.

The room is endless and echos bounce from walls too far to be seen.

The lights may be bright, but it dims the rest of the world.

It’s a dark night outside in the netherworld, for I have taken the sun.

I have her warmth and she shines from my eyes.

So much energy, I pour the radiating energy from my very core and fill the room.

Maybe I am the sun.
