Sounds

I can hear it screaming, screaming,

but i'm honestly not sure if it's her, me, or the several other voices in my head.

Whether i'm awake or in bed I can hear the sounds.

The sounds of my organs bleeding,

The sounds of something eating my insides.

The sounds of me wishing that this is just a fleeting moment in my life.

But this noise is all too familiar.

Luckily there are few things that increases it's volume,

unfortunately however there are even fewer to decrease it.

I can hear it whisper, whisper.

As it marks it's return,

I can hear it scratching, scratching,

creating more marks on my door.

I can hear it screaming, screaming,

as it mocks me with the sounds I can't explore,

The sounds.

I can't ignore,

The sounds.
