Sounds ...

Romans 8:22

22 For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now.

Sounds

Noisy, yes the birds are chirping

To some it is a peaceful song

Out of the really ordinary

Why don’t you come along?

Away from noises of the city

To the racket in the woods

Where nature groans in understanding

Very seldom understood

It is in perception of the mind

As the ear picks up uncertain sounds

Like the voice of the unknown whisper

That separates the serious from the clowns

There is a time for everything

Why don’t you tell that to the birds?

Or to the folks who are always whining

Like their story is all that hurts
