The Sounds of Nature

The sounds of nature in the air,

The sounds of nature everywhere.

Waves crashing on the beach,

The confident sound of an eagle’s screech.

The leaves that rustle in the trees,

Tall grass swaying with the breeze.

Crickets chirp mysteriously,

Birds sing songs to you and me.

I hear the rain falling on the ground,

A peaceful kind of plopping sound.

My voice echoes through the valley canyon,

Waking the birds like a booming cannon.

Bees buzzing through the flowers,

I could listen to the sounds of nature for hours.
