Sounds without Music

The kids are screaming and playing
to the sounds of cars passing by.
An airconditioner hums with an impeciple breath
and the teachers shout the names of the children.

Again.
Same as yesterday.
Maybe a car accident tomorrow.
Clicking click click.
HMMMMMMMMMMMM
Rolling toys
whooshing cars
so hot
the sun is my spotlight
honk honk

it is so still
in here

i want to be strong
but i know
that every day
will be harder
to lift
my arm
out
of
bed

and

love

..
