Soup Or Salad?

I believe that most individuals would decide to choose their job as a career. They would say,” this is my dream job”, and that would be it. Sometimes teenagers work at young ages to pay off car payments and insurance. They work there for so long that they do not ever reach their true potential. I am not against that philosophy, but I would rather choose a job that propels my dreams toward the right career path than one that defies my limits.

My dream job includes chopping, mincing, and dicing vegetables. The surrounding locale combines elegant dining with the purity of dishes from around the world. This place makes me feel like I am a part of their family. With this job one would soon find the taste buds of life in their creations. Instantaneously, the passion for cooking can be transferred onto the customer’s dish. That passion is what keeps the customers coming back for more. That is they key to success in the culinary world. My dream job, as well as all dream jobs, requires determination, perseverance, and an open mind. I do not think of my hunger, but the hunger of the diner. The job that would change my life will give me the tools and knowledge to respect every ingredient in these original works. It will prepare me for the next step in my restaurant ownership plan. This job is like an inciting incident in a book; without it my restaurant story would never fly off the ground. My life-changing job is working at Olive Garden.
