A South Georgia Sky

There we sat,

together, on the roof

under the stars

of a South Georgia sky.

No worries,

no fears,

just us

under the stars

of a South Georgia sky.

Temporary euphoria,

but irreplaceable peace,

safe and sound

under the stars

of a South Georgia sky.

Drunk on love,

high on affection,

addicted to us

under the stars

of a South Georgia sky.

Then my eyes open,

and it's just me

alone on the roof

under the stars

of a South georgia sky.
