Southern

(poems go here)Growing up southern is a privilege, really It’s more than fried food and sweet tea, from the gulf to a pond with water lilies It’s more than loving football and hating the city, it’s front porches and simple hospitality Growing up southern is a privilege, really In the country you’ll always be busy Either working all day, or gone fishin’ from the gulf to a pond with water lilies There’s a sweetness about the south, that you can’t find in the city nothing about it is the same as another other region growing up southern is a privilege, really Southern belles and gentlemen are found easily the sweetness of the south is everywhere, from the gulf to a pond with water lilies No matter where your from down south, as long as it doesn’t get chilly your memories, friends, and tan will be greater growing up southern is a privilege, really from the gulf to a pond with water lilies
