Southern Ground

Hold me close sweet southern ground, let oaken boughs enfold me. Let not the rush of life's foul winds wrap cold and vile around me. Oh sacred earth, God's own blessed ground, the land of times forgotten. New days are blooming, the pride of old life new begotten.
