Sow Love
You had sown me in,
but I refused.
Upon that mountainous shore,
I toppled to rise no more.
Delved in pride wearing thin,
loathing my veins, scorched from sin.
You sow me,
but I refuse.
Vigorous care and worthy blood
poured upon me from a worthy son.
A sacrifice too precious and holy,
all that I owe you, I scrape on ivory.
You will sow me,
and I will be your own.
All evil I’ve weighed upon this soul,
measuring to layers of molten gold,
you hold in your hands of holes and swells
while at home with you, we are well.
You will sow me,
and that is all.
