We listen to what celebrities say each and every night

But why should we when not one of them like Cronkite

I say we take celebrities out of the limelight

Maybe get off our phones, improve our eyesight

Take the problems we have, make them right

Take the dreams we have, make them take flight

We can access the world at our fingertips

But all we do is play games and see those nips

We got waitresses working hard, earning those tips

Singers making millions, being poor role models through their lips

We got the power to make the world be, the best that it can

But we headed for the worst, someone feel me man
