The Space In Between

In the past we see mistakes, paths untaken, ink never to be erased.

Through the mystery of tomorrow we see opportunities, hope, life to be enjoyed or destroyed.

The moment, here, now, has no meaning.

It is looked over.

Our eyes blinded by what has been and what might be.

The drops of time slide off our skin unnoticed.

Our eyes veiled from the beauty of now.

We are the blind ones who fail to look.

A gift, precious and valuable, is given and lost to soon.

Do we fully understand how fast the river flows?

How significant it is to breath, to live, to be?

There are mysteries between every heartbeat.

Memories to fill every space.

Miracles before you blink.

This poem is about how important it is to apprectiate time, specifically right now. Time goes by so fast and small miracles flash by us. Sometimes fail to see it.
