astimerunsoutthereissomuchtosay

beforeirunoutofbreath

andbeforeirunoutoftime

 

likehowmuchyoumeantome

howiwouldgiveeverythingforanothersecond

buthowtheclockticksfastertogether

 

likehowwhenimwithyou

thedarkestandsmallestpartsofmylife

becomeluminescentandilluminated

 

likehowaftermovingmyriadtimes

inyourarmsifinallyknow

whatitsliketobehome

 

isayiwantustobegolden

butyousayyouwanttostayblue

illbethesunandyoullbethesky

 

yougavemefourteenthousandthings

tobehappyabout

andstillyouretheonlyoneineed

 

andmaybeitsallafantasy

andsoonitwillallend

letsenjoyitwhilewecan
