"The Space Between Two Worlds"

Here I Stand across the way

Between a gap as wide as the grand canyon

Two worlds separated, and our hands never touch

It was a giant shift from the crust of our Earth

And the flow of tears that shaped the divide

I cannot fly; I am only a man

I can build, but with what will?

Your glance seemed so close and your smile

A bridge to the other side

Your face an omnipotent radiance

Lighting the dark like the rising sun

Bringing life to a fatel night elegy

And yet I lose you to the other side

If i could, i would love you to the other side
Slowly the sun sets casting long tragic shadows

And the process begins anew, searching for a bridge

I search for ground to place exhausted feet
