Reasons I write, there are many Firstly there are no rules I write what I want How I want Even so, I pay attention to spelling And that pesky grammar I write to express my views To show the world exactly what I think of it Each poem speaks my thoughts Along with my harsh critique I write to create For my own self-satisfaction To reassure myself That there is something I can do to contribute Most of all, I write to inspire Like my own idols Who have pushed me to greater heights Their words and actions spoke to me Making me weep and laugh at the same time And so I write
