Spark

This towering, skeletal wax candle

melting away.

Slightly lighting the aperture.

With hazy flickers of insightful light.

Those whom pass,

their breath feeding

I burn faster, brighter.

The sweet smoky tangs of truth,

lingering on this canvas.

Then they are gone.

Just me.

As I continue to melt

steadily reaching my demise.

I become weak I keel over,

Plunging towards this block.

Collapsed to point zero

in the smothering smoke.

For the moment seems.

This vision has gone…

suddenly in the dust.

Out of the hollowness, out of the blackness.

A spark...

The light breaks,

through the subtle hazing

Of smoke.

Kindling every vision

Life, society and

The judgement of the social pyramid

Society brings me my life again

Taking their breath

building me.

Everything exploding on this.

Halted art

Now a blaze

Fierce. Scorching. Daring.

loved by those who feel the warmth

Hated by those burnt by the truth

of this sweltering creation.
