Spark

A shuffle in ash, a place to be, beneath the fire, a mother to me. Renewed again, come as you please, a curse, a blessing, the greatest gift, a grace beyond the broken rift. A crack, a wince, a pain runs deep, a loneliness one cannot speak. A washed sand grain sent adrift, sink, sink back down, a bottomless abyss.
