The Spark of Hope


Black as night... cold and still... waiting for what might come Life holds still time seems to stop no corruption. no disruption. motionless... silent... as the lightning strikes the sky turns bright buildings look like shadows people appear as ghostly figures haunted by what has flashed before their eyes as soon as it came it has gone even sooner the brilliant light turned back to black the rain pours down never ending always descending the light of hope has disappeared in the darkness of the storm...
