Sparks Fly

Her pastel blue dress flowing like a river,

cascading down her legs.

The moon light, casting an iridescent glow

 on her already tanned skin.

His suit, black like the night sky above

His shirt, white like the stars contrasting the sky.

A blazing blue and black blur brushed across the dance floor.

They were dancing together.

Creating a dreamscape with moves so fluid,

not even the sea could keep up.

Everyone watched in awe, not believing a single thing they saw.

Waltzing and Fox-trotting across the floor,

The paper lanterns hanging above, swaying along

Even the breeze moved with the dancers,

wrapping around her legs,

styling her hair into a perfect mess.

Dips, turns and lifts, the two danced into the night.
