Speak

When I step into a crowded room, my mouth can no longer speak.

You may think i'm over exaggerating or just being plain weak

but that's not the case for goodness sake.

How do you express feelings

when you can't even say what they are really?

It's crazy having to put a smile on my face everyday

just to make it seem that i'm okay.

I thought I was known well enough to be known

but I guess to be deciphered, my insides have to show.

See I can not do that alone.

So the ink is my guide.

My mind is able to penetrate it's deep fluid onto a paper to strive.

It express much more than my verbal interactions ever could

and through the flowing of a pen I feel good.

I write to be heard.

and that may sound ubsurd, but my communication is through word.

It frees my soul to create peace inside of me

So without writing, I would be an endless catastrophe.
