Speak
" Silence, my companion breathes life into me when fear seeps into my bones.
It comforts me, strangling me with its emotionless presents.
It's there for me, but like many friend's it confines me.
It subdues me, drowning me with misery, dragging me under into a tomb full of depression.
Life seems hopeless while Silence nails my bleak future to my coffin,
but one word pumps hope in my veins as my heart beats along with it.
Escape.
Wrapping it relentless claws around my jaded heart.
Escape.
Extinguishing any attempt of ignorance.
Escape.
Like a flint this word starts a fire in my soul.
Escape.
Silence my only friend, freedom seems unattainable.
Escape...
I feel words mangle my vocal cords demanding liberty,
but Silence constantly crams them back down.
Defiance fuels the fire waiting to awake.
It is only a matter of time before Silence's clutch on me will end."
