Speak Up
She walks through the forest of infinite voices but could not hear a sound
Thoughts and imaginations form chaotically with each and every step
Flying from wall to wall making themselves known without finding common ground
The arrows below guide the unknown aspirations of life as they crept
Heart racing and blood pumping as she comes closer to the light between the trees
They seem to stare at her with the anxious anticipation of failure
Wanting her to stumble, fall, and sink lower than the bottom of all seas
She trips but doesn’t fall; the hidden rocks of judgment are behind her
The lights are up now and the spotlight is bright and ready
Fear boils up, nearly choking her with defeat
She lets out a whimper, but doesn’t let anything taker over she remains steady
She is feeling tired but it will devour her if she sleeps
Her heart is beating faster now, and rain pours heavy
She runs forward and breaks free realizing that all she had to do was Speak
