Speak
Bright blue eyes with a smile so wide
Amazingly, she doesn't breakdown although she's dying inside
Quiet and shy, she's staying stronger than ever
Please help her open up before her feelings disappear forever.
There, lies such a weak terrified soul
filled with secrets and emotions the world will never know.
Desperate cries will not be heard
holding it all so deep without speaking a single word.
Ignore the misery. Keep on pretending
Push through this perpetual pain that seems never-ending.
Nonstop thought about her life changing decisions
Her entire body is like a docile prison
Loved ones wait with worry in their eyes
but they will never hear her heartbreaking desperate cries.
Concealing those feelings is simply her choice
She needs to realize God gave her help and freedom;
It's called a voice.
