speak his salty name


swimming in the ocean when I realized your name tastes of salt. a lingering tang on my tongue saying it aloud is like swallowing sea water it's abrasive, it dries my throat stings my open wounds floods my open eyes but it's the one thing I crave a name that tastes like brine
