To Speak Or Not To Speak

Should I speak or should I keep quiet?

That is the question.

Is it better to be social?

Or to keep to myself?

I could get to know more people

But why go through the trouble?

Or I could talk with the few I’m comfortable with

And not have that fuss

Or is it slowly killing me?

Leaving me with less social skills

Making life harder and awkward

Why am I like this?

It’s not beneficial or difficult

Why can’t I get through my fears and just talk?

Honestly, I don’t know why.
